Hurley is a small city located in Turner County, South Dakota, United States. It has a population of approximately 415 people as per the 2010 census. Hurley is located about 37 miles southwest of Sioux Falls and can be accessed via Interstate 29 or US Route 18.
The town was incorporated in 1903 and named after Arthur J. Hurley, a railroad official. Hurley boasts a rich agricultural heritage with the majority of the population engaged in farming or related activities such as livestock production, feed milling, and meat processing.
